Margaret Wanjiku, is based in Nairobi, Kenya. Her motivation comes from personal experiences growing up and later working with farmers, which inspired her passion for empowering smallholder farmers, protecting biodiversity, and creating economic opportunities for women and youth. As Founder and CEO of Pollen Patrollers, Margaret leads an innovative agri-tech initiative using smart hive technology and precision pollination to combat bee colony collapse. The project supports farmers with affordable pollination services, boosts yields, and promotes climate-resilient practices, directly impacting livelihoods and environmental sustainability across Kenya.

Margaret will be represented by her colleague Ednah Kihungi at Congress.
