This exhibition shines a light on the richness of North Africa’s biodiversity and the vital role civil society plays in protecting this unique natural heritage. In a region where the Arab Spring gave rise to a vibrant civic movement and where youth emigration remains a major challenge - especially young people and women -  have chosen a different path. They dedicate themselves to local associations, working hand in hand with their communities to safeguard ecosystems. 
Through Mubadarat, IUCN Med supports these associations and amplifies their voices. Even the smallest actions matter: they show how, step by step, a lasting impact is built.
