Biographie

With a solid track record in defending the territorial and environmental rights of Indigenous Peoples, I lead initiatives and projects that promote their active participation in biodiversity and climate change issues. Currently, as National Coordinator of Biodiversity and Climate Change Projects with Indigenous Peoples, I direct technical, administrative, and financial efforts in Colombia, ensuring that all our actions are aligned with Indigenous Peoples’ own conceptions of care and territorial governance.
In addition, I lead strategic engagement with diverse funders and national and international stakeholders, as well as allied organizations, strengthening partnerships that amplify our impact. My work includes analyzing financing for biodiversity protection and human rights, ensuring the sustainability of our actions while keeping them focused on respect for rights and the promotion of Indigenous autonomy.

My commitment to the holistic care of life and social justice is also reflected in my role as a researcher and environmental project coordinator at CNTI ODTPI, where I contribute my expertise in biodiversity and environmental policies. From our organization, and with the support of multidisciplinary teams, we work to influence policy, protect the territorial and environmental rights of Indigenous Peoples, safeguard biodiversity and forests, and strengthen capacities through a respectful and collaborative approach.
