Description de la séance
Kenya’s participation at the Congress demonstrates the country’s leadership and commitment to biodiversity protection, wildlife conservation, and community-driven initiatives. The Pavilion will provide a platform to showcase Kenya’s innovative approaches to safeguarding ecosystems while ensuring that local communities benefit directly from conservation efforts. Delegates will learn about best practices in community conservancies, nature-positive livelihoods, and strategies that promote harmonious human–wildlife coexistence. In addition, Kenya will highlight its success stories in protecting endangered species, managing national parks and reserves, and advancing inclusive, locally-led conservation models that inspire global action. The participation also offers opportunities to strengthen collaboration with international partners by sharing experiences, forging networks, and promoting cooperation in areas such as financing, technical support, and knowledge exchange.
