This event will launch the new Nature Based Education Geoportal that is a collaboration between IUCN and Esri. The new Geoportal will be a global focal point for Nature Based Education, where members can showcase their work in this area and highlight excellent examples from their countries. Acting as a showcase for global best practice in Nature Based Education, the Geoportal will inspire governments, NGO’s, educators, students, and other organizations to join this global movement for positive change. Join us to see practical examples of how Nature Based Education in action can have global and local impacts through the work of some amazing students from Panama that use the latest geospatial tools and GeoAI. Discover how the Geoportal can support schools, for free, to start their own Nature Based Education journey, develop career ready skills and make positive changes for their local communities and the world.Speaker
