Description de la séance

Join experts from IUCN’s Commission on Education and Communication, with Esri, to explore the vital role of education in achieving the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework targets. This session will introduce IUCN’s new Nature-based Education Facility, launched with a generous donation of technology and expertise from Esri. This global fund and incubator will scale innovative biodiversity and climate education by supporting Nature-based Education initiatives around the world. Regional hubs—beginning in Canada and expanding to Latin America and Asia —will localize and amplify impact. Leveraging IUCN’s 1,600 Members, 17,000 experts, and platforms like Panorama and the IUCN Academy, the Facility will surface, support, and replicate effective Nature-based Education (NbE) solutions worldwide.
