Reine Metlej

Reine Metlej is a sustainability consultant and social entrepreneur from Lebanon, passionate about driving climate action, circular economy solutions, and youth empowerment. With a background in environmental engineering and extensive experience in project design and delivery, she works at the intersection of renewable energy, waste management, and social innovation.

Reine has consulted with international organizations focusing on biogas feasibility studies, women-led MSME resilience, and social startup capacity building. She has also trained hundreds of youth, startups, and freelancers on entrepreneurship, problem-solving, and financial literacy. Alongside her sustainability work, Reine also manages diverse projects as a management consultant across multiple industries, combining strategic leadership with hands-on implementation.

Recognized by Forbes 30 Under 30 and selected as Lebanon’s 2024 MTE Climate Ambassador, Reine brings both technical expertise and a strong commitment to inclusive development. She is motivated by a vision of empowering youth and women to become changemakers in their own communities, while advancing sustainable solutions to some of the region’s most pressing environmental and social challenges. Her work reflects a belief that collaboration, innovation, and inclusion are key to creating a more sustainable and equitable future for all.
