Session flow:
•Introduction (5 minutes)
•Presentations (4 speakers, 10 minutes each ): Speakers will share case studies on traditional knowledge, community customs, sacred sites, and cultural expressions in natural heritage sites and how these practices contribute to sustainable natural heritage conservation efforts.
•World Café Discussion Rounds (3 Rounds of 10 minutes each): These discussions will focus on topics like the role of traditional knowledge, brief, customs, art, music, and literature in conservation, scaling culturally informed conservation practices, youth and women engagement and leadership in conservation.
•Closing Plenary (15 minutes): Facilitators will present a summary of the key ideas generated from the discussions. The collective insights will form actionable strategies, policy recommendations, and scalable models for integrating cultural heritage into broader conservation frameworks.
