Description de la séance
1. Measuring impact of conservation for philanthropy: Measuring the direct impact of conservation projects and grants can be extremely difficult. Many private philanthropies rely largely on storytelling and grantee development, but are these metrics sufficient to attract required funding amounts? 2. Main technological trends impacting conservation philanthropy. Technological tools are rapidly changing conservation activities. How will the use of AI affect the donor recipient relationship? 3. Species funding in a broader context: How can we ensure that species (especially those that receive little conservation attention) are secured in a future funding environment? Support for Target 4 of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework. 4. Closing the biodiversity finance gap: Can philanthropy close the biodiversity finance gap of $700bn per year as stated the Kunming-Montreal GBF? 5. “Open Mic” topic: The landscape of conservation funding has changed. What should be the top 3 priorities for conservation philanthropy over the next 3-5 years?Organised by
