Achim STEINER

Achim Steiner is a recognised leader in sustainable development, environmental policy and climate policy. He served as Director General of IUCN from 2001-2006. Since then he has led several international organisations, including UNEP and UNDP, and served as Vice Chair of the UN Sustainable Development Group. His expertise covers many fields, including international relations, geopolitiics, the digital economy, global finance, international cooperation and green transition strategies.
