Iliana MENDOZA

Biographie

I hold a degree in Biology with a specialization in Agroecology from the Technological Institute of the Valley of Oaxaca and a Master's degree in Social Economy Business Management from the Universidad Iberoamericana-Puebla. I have worked in various institutions such as Espacios Naturales y Desarrollo Sustentable, A.C. and the Mexican Institute of Youth, where I was in charge of the Evaluation Subdirectorate from 2019 to 2023. At the Institute, I played a key role in the development and design of methodologies for the systematization and analysis of public policies on youth and contributed to the development and publication of federal government programs. I currently work on the development and monitoring of conservation and restoration projects for Natural Protected Areas in Mexico and represent the Mexican Fund for Nature Conservation at the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).
