Nour Bader is a biology undergraduate at New York University Abu Dhabi, specializing in Brain and Cognitive Sciences with minors in Psychology and Anthropology. Passionate about neuroscience and global health, Nour is conducting capstone research on chronic stress and hypothalamic plasticity and contributes to clinical research at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, focusing on neurocognitive biomarkers for dementia and Alzheimer’s prevention.
An accomplished young scholar, Nour has co-authored multiple peer-reviewed publications on topics including the impact of COVID-19 on heart transplantation and organ donation trends. She is also Co-President of the Ecoherence Student Interest Group, where she leads environmental initiatives, and actively volunteers to support English education for children and women in refugee communities.
