Participants will gain practical insights into scaling Nature-based Solutions through regional hubs, learn from diverse regional experiences, strengthen cross-sector partnerships, and explore strategies for capacity-building, knowledge exchange, and policy integration, enabling more effective, equitable, and sustainable NbS implementation globally.
Description de la séance
This session is proposed to highlight the pivotal role of regional hubs in strengthening capacity for NbS implementation. By showcasing diverse regional experiences and facilitating dialogue among practitioners and policymakers, the session will identify practical mechanisms for enhancing skills, mobilizing resources, and scaling up NbS across regions. Strengthening the capacities of regional hubs is not only critical to accelerating NbS uptake but also to ensuring that solutions are equitable, inclusive, and aligned with global sustainability targets such as the Paris Agreement, the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).Speaker
