Boris ERG

Boris Erg is Director of the IUCN European Regional Office (EURO) based in Bonn. Boris’ professional career spans 25 years focusing on environmental policy, biodiversity conservation, governance and management of natural resources and nature-based solutions. He has worked with partners at all levels, including with international organizations, national and sub-national authorities, local communities, research and academia, resource managers, and non-state actors. Throughout his career, Boris has actively promoted and advocated for the concept of fair and equitable governance of natural resources as a response to growing societal and environmental challenges.
