Delivering on equity is one of the five main themes of WCC and a key element of the 30x30 target. This event covers how to identify the key inequity issues in a given context, what actions to enhance equity look like in practice and how to measure success.

Following a brief overview of the SAGE tool, its relevance to the 30x30 target and how it enables site-level actors to assess the quality of governance and equity and plan actions to improve, the event will focus on practical examples from protected areas in Nepal of assessment results and actions now being implemented to improve governance and equity. Staff of the National NGO leading this work in Nepal – RECOTFC - will lead this event with staff of NGOs using SAGE in other countries present to contribute to discussion.Organised by
