MPAs have been a powerful spatial measure in the Eastern Tropical Pacific, however impactful marine conservation requires expanding this vision for long-term natural and social benefits. In this session you will learn about how to manage and maintain connectivity at a regional level.

Description de la séance

Known for its exceptional biodiversity and key habitats, the Eastern Tropical Pacific (ETP) must prioritize transboundary connectivity and coordination for long-term natural and social benefits. The event aims to promote more understanding, awareness, integration and application of connectivity in the marine landscapes of the ETP. Through the presentation of innovative projects and initiatives, we will encourage active participation from the audience to comment on ideas and propose recommendations for existing and proposed spatial and regulatory management measures in the region.
