Pourquoi participer

This session will generate ideas and partnerships for accelerating implementation of the 2030 agenda as well as start the discussion on how to approach the thinking around a post 2030 framework for a just world that values and conserves nature.

Description de la séance

The session aims to raise awareness in the global conservation community on the need to accelerate action for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. It aims to foster collaborative and innovative partnerships to enhance synergies between the 2030 Agenda and the Rio Conventions. By integrating nature-based solutions into policies and planning, we can make significant strides towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030. With five years left to go and most SDGs severely off track, and limited resources available, it is essential that we make the most of each international conference taking place from now until 2030 to turn these into moments for galvanising action.
