Attend to celebrate the extraordinary life and legacy of Dr. Jane Goodall, whose groundbreaking research and tireless advocacy have transformed our understanding of chimpanzees, conservation, and humanity’s role in protecting the planet.
Description de la séance
Join us for a tribute session co-hosted by the Jane Goodall Institute and IUCN, to celebrate the life, legacy, and achievements of Dr. Jane Goodall. In the session, we will honour her groundbreaking research into chimpanzee behaviour at Gombe—most notably her discovery that chimpanzees use tools—and her decades of advocacy for wildlife, habitat protection, and youth empowerment, work which will carry on through her namesake organization, the Jane Goodall Institute and its 25 chapters around the world. Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots movement, her global conservation leadership, and her commitment to fostering harmony between people and nature will be highlighted. Together, we commemorate a life that changed how we understand and protect our planet.
