This high-level event will convene governments, multilateral development banks, private sector investors, and civil society to accelerate financing for Nature-based Solutions (NbS). Despite their proven potential to tackle climate change, biodiversity loss, and land degradation, NbS remain underfunded, with public finance as the main source. To bridge this gap, the event will highlight innovative financing mechanisms—such as blended finance, impact investments, and public-private partnerships—that can unlock private capital and ensure long-term sustainability. Discussions will also focus on strengthening enabling policy and institutional frameworks to create the right conditions for scaling NbS investments globally. By fostering dialogue and collaboration among key stakeholders, the event aims to catalyze concrete financial commitments and policy actions, showcasing pathways to mainstream NbS as a cost-effective and transformative approach for building resilience, restoring ecosystems, and achieving climate and development goals.Organized by
