Women in Water is a one-hour podcast that highlights the leadership journeys of women reshaping how communities, ecosystems, and institutions manage our most precious resource. The conversation begins with Adenike Oladosu - an ecofeminist active in Lake Chad - who shares her personal journey and grassroots engagement to protect fragile ecosystems and the millions of people whose lives depend on them. We then hear from Pianporn “Pai” Deetes – a campaigns director at International Rivers - who reflects on organising river communities in Southeast Asia to resist dam projects that endanger local livelihoods, regional resilience, and the health of freshwater ecosystems. Finally, Santina Benson - Executive Director of the CEO Roundtable of Tanzania - brings her business leader perspective and illustrates how ethical leadership in business and finance can mobilise investment for sustainable water management across Africa.
