This session will introduce participants to Nature-based Solutions (NbS) and their benefits for climate, nature, and people, with a focus on mobilising finance from public and private sources to scale implementation. Organised by NetworkNature with UNEP-WCMC, ICLEI, Fundação Boticário, EBRD and partners, it will showcase financing models such as blended finance, public–private partnerships, and development bank instruments that support NbS across sectors. The session will highlight how to structure NbS projects to attract investors and share best practices for integrating biodiversity into business strategies. Insights will draw on the NetworkNature Guide to the NbS Finance Landscape and the booklet Guiding Businesses in Integrating Biodiversity and NbS in Decision-Making Processes. Aligned with the Congress Themes Scaling up resilient conservation action and Transitioning to nature-positive economies and societies, the session will demonstrate how harmonised NbS financing delivers scalable conservation, resilience, and nature-positive outcomes.Speaker
