Nujoud ALHAMMADI

Biografía

Nujoud Alhammadi is the Head of the Environmental Awareness Section at the Dubai Environment and Climate Change Authority (DECCA). With a background in Chemical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Engineering Management, she leads programs that advance sustainability, conservation, and climate awareness across the UAE.

She has played a key role in initiatives such as smart environmental inspection, biodiversity conservation, and nationwide awareness campaigns. Nujoud collaborates closely with government entities, private sector organizations, and academic partners to integrate innovation and community engagement into environmental strategies.

Her expertise also extends to ensuring compliance with international ISO standards (14001, 50001, 9001, 31000, 45001, 22301, 27001), with a strong foundation in emergency management, health and safety, auditing, and financial planning—complemented by hands-on field and laboratory experience. Passionate about building a sustainable future for Dubai and beyond, she brings both technical knowledge and strategic leadership to her role.
