Biografía

Celine Lim is an Indigenous Kayan from Baram, Sarawak Borneo, and is the Managing Director of SAVE Rivers, a local Non-profit and Civil Society Organization (CSO) championing Indigenous Peoples' (IPs) rights and environmental justice. SAVE Rivers is a member of the Indigenous Communities Conserved Area (ICCA) Consortium, an international organization that works to ensure that indigenous peoples' protected areas and territories are properly recognized and supported. 
Currently, SAVE Rivers oversee various community-led conservation projects and lead initiatives that strengthen IPs customary governance via capacity building, research, networking and advocacy. Besides that, SAVE Rivers is also active in championing for full participation in the designing and implementation of laws, regulations and policies that impact IPs groups.
