Biografía

Mr. Charles Oluchina is a natural resource management, sustainable development, corporate management, community empowerment and business development specialist with over 23 years of professional experience. He holds a BSc in Natural Resources Management and a Master of Business Administration.  He is skilled in strategic planning, programme management, grant making, monitoring, business design and policy advocacy. His breadth of experience includes careers with: Pact Inc. as a project coordinator; Program and Policy Strategy advisor on environment, biodiversity, food security, land policy and climate change at USAID-US Embassy/Kenya and, Director of Field Programs Africa region for The Nature Conservancy. In 2018, he joined the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) as the head of programmes for East and Southern Africa region. He has served on several public and private boards. He is a passionate conservationist, coach, public speaker, writer, and development commentator.
