TORU SASAKI

Mr. Sasaki graduated from the Keio University, majoring in International Trade and Country Risk Assessment. He began his career at Fuji Bank (presently known as Mizuho Bank) for a decade where he specialized in foreign exchange and trade finance. In 1992, he was the Senior Manager of International Marketing and Finance, and later assumed the role of Director of CSR and Environment Affairs at All Nippon Airways (ANA). Mr. Sasaki brought with him vast leadership experience in CSR strategies when he joined as the General Manager of Azbil Corporation in Japan in 2019. He concurrently serves as the Global Head of Sustainability and Senior Director of azbil corporation. He also promotes industry-wide sustainability throughout private sectors and has played a key role in Nature Coservation Council of KEIDANREN, Japan Business Federation, such as giving a presentation on biodiversity at the COP16 held in Cali, Colombia.   As a globetrotter born in Hiroshima in Japan, he yearns for the world to be more peaceful and amicable in a more sustainable way.
