Dana HUMAID

Dana is co-chair of the International Initiative of Law Enforcement for Climate (I2LEC), which was established in collaboration with UNODC, which aims to enhance the capacities of law enforcement agencies in responding to environmental crimes and mitigate the impact of climate change. I2LEC has bought together national, regional and international law enforcement bodies to share experiences and work together. I2LEC organized the first high-level participation of law enforcement at COP28 to increase awareness on the role that law enforcement can play in mitigating climate change, and will have participation at COP29 as well
