Esri’s ArcGIS system leverages the power of geography to collect, analyze, visualize complex geospatial information that can be used to plan conservation action and monitor impact and outcomes. In this session, Esri staff will highlight the Living Atlas of the World Hexagonal Earth datasets and show how they can be used by conservationists to assess their progress on all CBD Targets. Speakers will provide an overview of data sources, analyses, as well as tour concept web mapping applications for monitoring progress at local to global scales.
