To learn how the "One Health – One Mind" approach links nature, health & resilience, and how to integrate it into policy, programmes & protected area management.
Descripción de la sesión
Biodiversity loss, climate change, public health challenges, and mental-health pressures are deeply connected. The One Health approach recognises the interdependence of people, animals, ecosystems, and societies — but to be fully effective, it must also embrace the “One Mind” dimension: the psychological and emotional resilience of the people and communities who care for nature. This session explores how a holistic One Health – One Mind approach can strengthen conservation outcomes, improve public health, and build social and ecological resilience. It will highlight practical pathways for IUCN Members and partners to integrate this thinking into policy, programme design, and protected area management.Asociaciones
