Descripción de la sesión

Urban greening is increasingly recognised as a strategic imperative for cities facing climate, biodiversity, and economic challenges. The AIPH Global Green City Standard provides a governance-driven framework to help cities plan, implement, and monitor nature-based solutions, embedding greening into city leadership, urban management, and economic development.
In this speedy session, we will introduce the Standard’s eight key city-led processes, share lessons from award-winning cities, and demonstrate how plants, parks, and green spaces can enhance competitiveness, attract investment, and improve urban resilience. Attendees will leave with practical knowledge and tools to integrate nature into their own city’s urban development strategy.
