Paola GEREMICCA

Biografía

Paola Geremicca is a multilingual, dynamic, results-driven executive with  20+ years of experience in delivering critical projects of outstanding quality both in the corporate and public sector. Combining business acumen with a true passion for Environment and Human Rights, she has led organizational, sustainability, advocacy, resource development and partnership efforts within local and global scales both in the profit and not for profit sector. Paola was born in Italy and has been based in Geneva since 2007. She has lived and worked in eleven countries around the world (including Benin, Brazil, Kenya, Belgium amongst other exotic postings!). She holds a BA in Political Science as well as a Master’s in Business Administration. A happy and busy mum of two she has recently been working as an independent consultant accompanying her clients on their journey towards resource mobilization excellence and strategic philanthropy. She joined IUCN as Event Sponsorship Coordinator for the IUCN World Conservation Congress in 2020, responsible for designing and implementing a resource mobilization strategy to secure all funds to cover costs directly related to the delivery of the Congress. She now works for the Strategic Partnership Unit and leads the development and implementation of Special Initiatives and Strategic Projects for IUCN
