Biografía
My initial training was in Conservation Biology in Peru, then proceeding to do an MPhil in Conservation Leadership and a PhD in Geography in the UK, studying the geopolitics of international conservation programmes. I have over 6 years of experience in managing and monitoring conservation programmes, primarily terrestrial programmes in South America and the Caribbean. Currently, I work at Fauna & Flora as a Technical Specialist in Social Equity and Rights, working primarily with teams in Americas and the Caribbean to successfully implement people-centred approaches in their conservation projects. This includes engaging with gender-responsive and transformative, participatory, and rights-based approaches.
