Descripción de la sesión

Seabirds are incredible travelers, spending most of their lives soaring over the open ocean and only coming ashore to nest. Their epic journeys cross many countries and vast international waters, reminding us how connected our world’s oceans really are. But with only 8% of oceans protected and climate change increasing threats, seabirds face growing challenges at every stage of their lives.

Join experts from the National Audubon Society and partners to hear how Project Puffin has successfully restored Atlantic Puffins and other seabirds to the Gulf of Maine—a rare conservation success built over five decades of dedication. Discover how this work is evolving to tackle new global challenges through science, policy, and collaboration—and why protecting seabirds means protecting the health of our oceans and communities.
