Catherine Cunningham is a writer, producer, and media entrepreneur educated in ecology and anthropology -producing digital media, films, and interactive experiences for international clients aimed at delivering positive economic, social, and environmental win-win-win solutions to global conservation and climate change. Partnering with Eurovision News and Events, Catherine is an independent host & media producer. Most recently, she designed, directed, and executive produced Nature's Newsroom @COP 26 for the Global Commons Alliance, Nature4Climate, IUCN, WWF, CI, TNC, ReWild, EarthDayNetwork and others with Eurovision News & Events. Catherine has travelled, written, photographed, and filmed over the past 20 years in 74 countries; producing media for clients in business (e.g. Shell, Cisco, HP, Google, Unilever, Coca-cola), national governments (e.g. India, Mexico, Monaco, Indonesia, China, USA), financial institutions (e.g. GEF, ADB, Deutsche Bank), and organizations (e.g. UNFCCC, UNDP, UNEP, UNESCO, WEF, SB) —aiming to awaken humanity's curiosity, love, and appreciation for the natural world. Catherine is an independent media host— producing content on nature, climate, and regeneration; syndicated globally by EuroVision’s News Direct. She is a leading contributor to Ariana Huffington’s Thrive Global. Prior, she was a university professor in ecology and sustainability at Chapman U, Denver Metro, and Arizona State U for 7 years. Catherine earned her PhD in Ecosystem Science at ETHZ in Switzerland, studying climate impacts on mountain ecosystems. She holds a BS in Cultural Anthropology and International Peace Studies from the University of Notre Dame and holds a Masters degree from Utah State in Ecology.
