Descripción de la sesión

Citizen science activities in Korea and across East Asia are becoming an increasingly vital force in biodiversity monitoring. In this session, we will share how data collected by citizens and non-specialists can be refined and validated to enhance its scientific value. Through inspiring case studies, we will highlight practical approaches to improving accuracy and reliability, showing how citizen-generated data can evolve into trusted knowledge. By bridging the gap between citizens and experts, these efforts will enrich our collective understanding of biodiversity in East Asia and foster greater collaboration for the future.
