This interactive World Café explores how the UAE is advancing the global transition to a nature-positive economy by placing ecosystems and their services at the heart of decision-making. The UAE’s pioneering Natural Capital Project represents a vision for aligning sustainable development with ecological resilience, with lessons for arid and water-scarce regions worldwide. This session invites participants to engage directly in shaping the future applications of natural capital approaches, from informing policy and planning, to mobilising finance, to empowering civil society. The dialogue will focus on opportunities, challenges, and concrete next steps to mainstream natural capital at national and international scales.Organised by
