Nalucha NGANGA-ZIBA

Biography

Nalucha is an International Development practitioner with a specialization in public policy, human rights and gender. She has a professional career that spans over 15 years of senior-level international experience leading multi-disciplinary teams having worked for multicultural and complex international non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and the private corporate sector within the sub-Saharan region.

Nalucha holds two Master’s Degrees. One in Constitutional Law and Administration and a Master of Science in Communications and Public Relations. She holds two Bachelors’ Degrees; an LLB from UNZA and a Bachelor of Arts with Education.

Nalucha has experience in providing technical support and capacity development to women’s rights and young people’s organizations, networks, coalitions, and social movements. She is experienced in providing technical leadership on gender, climate change and environment, governance, public finance management, trade, debt, tax justice, Humanitarian Action and Resilience. 

Nalucha has also served as Board Secretary for the AAZ Board for over six years, GRS Board for over three years and the NGOCC Board as staff member servicing the Fundraising and programmatic committee of the Board. She currently serves as the Treasurer for Africans Raising Board, a Pan African social movement and serves on the Advisory Panel for the African Dignity Index. She also served as Chairperson for the NGO Law Technical Group, tasked to develop the model law for NGOs in Zambia under the Ministry of Community Development and Social Service. Recently, Nalucha was appointed to serve as Commissioner to the Anti-Corruption Commission Board of Zambia.
