Florence joined IUCN in 2018 after a 20-year career in the consumer goods sector. Since September 2023, she has been part of the Business & Nature team, working with global companies to strengthen nature-related assessment and measurement practices and to design strategies for nature positive outcomes. She leverages IUCN data and standards, as well as frameworks such as TNFD, ensuring that lessons learned from corporate applications feed back into IUCN’s scientific work. Her current portfolio spans the metals and mining, wood and paper, chemicals, and construction materials sectors.
Florence holds a master’s degree in business management from EDHEC (France), a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance from Sciences Po Paris (France), and an advanced diploma in sustainable business from the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland). Most recently, she earned a certificate in systems thinking from Cornell University.
She is passionate about change management and economic transformation—particularly through systems thinking—and enjoys exploring innovative approaches such as collaborative facilitation techniques and serious games.
