Yves Frederic NDJOH

Yves Frederic Ndjoh is a Cameroonian social entrepreneur, innovator, and sustainability leader committed to advancing renewable energy, education access, and inclusive community development. He is the Founder and CEO of Kinetic Power Systems LTD, the enterprise behind the Electrical Energy-Generating Speed Breaker—a pioneering solution that converts the kinetic energy of vehicles into clean electricity for public infrastructure such as streetlights, traffic signals, and security systems. He also leads the development of the Ultrasonic Locust Repellent, an eco-friendly, solar-powered alternative to pesticides that protects crops and strengthens food security across Africa. Yves’s leadership and innovations have gained international recognition, including the Global Third Prize and First Prize Regional Award at the ISETS–ESCAP Global Youth Voice on Energy Transition, the Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Award, and a $25,000 Global Food System Challenge Seed Grant from the Seeding the Future Foundation and the Institute of Food Technologists. He is also an alumnus of the Aspire Leaders Program from Aspire Institut, which provided a seed fund for his Energy generating speed breaker initiative. Alongside his entrepreneurial work, Yves serves as Project Officer at the Alpha Omega Foundation, expanding healthcare and education access for vulnerable groups. He embodies African-led innovation, combining technical expertise with social impact to create sustainable solutions for global challenges.
