Biography
Sandeep Sengupta currently leads IUCN's global policy work on climate change based in its headquarters in Gland, Switzerland. He has over 15 years of practical experience across multiple levels in the fields of climate change, natural resource management, and environmental policy making, and has previously worked in government, academia and international organizations in both India and abroad. He holds a doctorate in International Relations from the University of Oxford and masters degrees from the London School of Economics and the Indian Institute of Forest Management.
