Wael BUSHAH

Biography

Eng. Wael Bushah currently serves as the CEO of Morooj Foundation where he leads strategic efforts to promote environmental sustainability across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He has also played a pivotal role as General Manager of Environmental Awareness at the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture (MEWA), where he made notable impacts raising environmental awareness and driving initiatives that align with national and international environmental goals. 

He is also an advisor to the Deputy Minister of Environment, and is an active member of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s delegation to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) Conference of the Parties (COP16), where he leads multiple efforts across the implementation of key flagship initiatives supporting global environmental commitments.
