Session Description

Sharjah’s protected areas conserve diverse habitats, including mangroves, deserts, mountains, and wetlands. Managed by the Environment and Protected Areas Authority (EPAA), these reserves safeguard rare flora and fauna, support ecological research, and promote environmental education. Key sites include Wasit Wetland, Alqurm Wa Lehfeiyah, Jebel Buhais and Sir Bo Nair, showcasing rich xeric and marine biodiversity.
