Why attend

Join us to connect across generations of conservation professionals, share experiences, and gain new perspectives. Whether you’re starting out or a seasoned leader, this session offers a unique chance to expand your network, spark collaboration, and build meaningful relationships that will support your work beyond the congress.

Session Description

Are you a young conservation professional eager to make new connections in the conservation space with more senior professionals? Are you a seasoned conservation leader looking to connect with the next generation of conservationists, share your experience, and gain fresh perspectives? This lively, speed-dating–style session will bring emerging leaders and experienced professionals together for a series of short, focused conversations. Participants will be randomly grouped, with prompts provided to spark meaningful exchanges, encourage curiosity, and uncover shared interests. The aim is simple: to help participants build supportive connections they can draw on throughout the congress—whether that means swapping advice, introducing one another to contacts, or offering encouragement during the event. By meeting multiple people in a short time, you’ll expand your network quickly while laying the foundation for longer-term collaboration.
