Duko Hopman 
Executive Director, Rob Walton Foundation

Duko joined the Rob Walton Foundation in February 2025 after more than a decade at McKinsey & Company, where he co-founded and co-led the Nature Analytics group. In that role, he advised governments, NGOs, and corporations across more than 20 countries on conservation finance, protected area management, and nature-positive growth strategies. He helped build major cross-sector alliances such as Ocean 100 and SPACES and played a leading role in developing innovative financing mechanisms including nature credits and debt-for-nature swaps. In addition to his foundation work, Duko serves as Managing Director of an innovative non-profit microfinance company in Uganda. He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and MSc degrees in Epidemiology and Molecular Biology from the University of Groningen.
