Ellora-Julie Parekh, is currently the Group Chief Sustainability Officer at Al Futtaim Group, a leading family-owned conglomerate with headquarters in Dubai, UAE and operating in over 30 markets in MENA And SEA regions. The Group is active in 5 industries, Automotive, Real Estate, Retail, Healthcare and Financial Services.
Prior to joining Al Futtaim, Ellora-Julie led the Strategy for Global Think Tank Salzburg Global and spent over 15 years with McKinsey and Company, serving clients globally, with a focus on emerging economies, on their Sustainability Strategy and ESG transformation.
Ellora-Julie is a Telecom Engineer by training, and started her career with Lucent Technologies and Nortel Networks.
She received her Engineering Degree from Centrale – Supelec in France and her M.B.A. from the Wharton School in the US. She is a French-Indian national.
