Julia IKASARANA

Biography

Julia Ikasarana is a sustainability and collective action professional with extensive experience in public policy, human rights, gender equality, and environmental governance. Currently serving as Planning and Policy Manager at Lingkar Temu Kabupaten Lestari (LTKL), she leads collaborative policy-making and sustainable planning processes with district governments, ensuring that local development aligns with long-term environmental goals. Her previous roles at LTKL, including District Planning Coordinator and Project Officer, involved integrating sustainability principles into spatial, development, and investment planning, as well as fostering collective action among local and national stakeholders. With a strong foundation in political science and a career spanning research, policy, and advocacy, Julia has positioned herself as a key convener in advancing sustainable district governance and strengthening institutional capacity for environmentally responsible development
