Biography

Gerald Prolman is the Executive Chairman and founder of Everland, established in 2017 to represent the world’s largest portfolio of high-impact, community-centered forest conservation projects. Everland unites forest communities and corporations in protecting some of the planet’s most crucial and irreplaceable ecosystems. Before launching Everland, Gerald served as Senior Vice President of Business Development at Wildlife Works, a leading REDD+ project developer, where he contributed to advancing forest conservation as a recognized climate solution within the Voluntary Carbon Market.

Over his 46-year career, Gerald has built sustainable ventures that merge business with social and environmental impact. He founded Organic Bouquet, the world’s first online retailer of sustainably grown fresh-cut flowers, and Made In Nature, the first organic produce brand to break into U.S. mass-market retail, helping to expand organic farming into mainstream markets. Through these ventures and his leadership at Everland, Gerald has consistently shaped new markets while advancing conservation, sustainability, and community prosperity.
