NATALIA DANILINA, PRESIDENT OF THE CHARITABLE EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION "Protected Areas EMBASSY", DIRECTOR OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION CENTRE ZAPOVEDNIKS. Since 1996 creator and director Zapovedniks Center , an autonomous non - profit organization of Additional Professional Education. She initiated the creation (2018) and is currently the president of the Protected Areas Embassy Charitable Educational Foundation. From 1988 to 1996 she worked in the environmental authorities of the USSR and Russia. She worked her way up from a leading specialist to the Head of the Main Department of Protected Areas. Since 1978 - Researcher at the Institute of Nature of the Ministry of Agriculture of the USSR. Natalia Danilina is a member of the Public Environmetal Council of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental of Russia, a member of the Expert Council on Protected Areas, a member of the Joint Expert Council of the Presidential Grants Fund. Emeritus of the World Commission on Protected Areas (2008-2021), from 2019 to 2021 - IUCN Regional Councilor, from 1993 to 2008 – Regional Vice-Chair of the IUCN World Commission on Protected Areas, from 2011 to 2014 - Member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation. Honorary Worker of Nature Conservation of the Russian Federation. Natalia Danilina is one of the main developers of the Federal Law on Protected Areas of Russia (1995); initiator and developer of the Federal Target Program for State Support of National Protected Areas and (for 1994-2004); participant in the development of the Concept for the Development of federal protected Areas 2011-2020; initiator of the development of environmental education, ecotourism and programs of interaction with the local communities, as well as methodological support for this work; creator of the training center for protected areas staff; author of numerous publications on nature conservation, environmental education and tourism in protected areas.
