Session Description
This interactive youth-driven event invites young conservationists and CEESP members from West Asia to contribute directly to the design and priorities of the IUCN’s new global Programme. The session will explore key regional conservation challenges, highlight opportunities for youth engagement, and discuss how innovative and equity-based approaches can drive lasting impact. By providing a platform for youth voices, the discussion ensures that intergenerational equity and creativity are integrated into conservation planning. Participants will share perspectives on biodiversity, climate resilience, and community-led solutions, aligning them with IUCN’s global goals. Through dialogue and recommendations, the session will strengthen youth leadership in shaping policy and practice, positioning the MENA region as a hub of transformative conservation.Organised by
