Dr. Jasminka Jaksic is a seasoned environmental and sustainability professional with extensive experience in developing and implementing corporate environmental and sustainability strategies and roadmaps, and ESG disclosures. She currently works at EGA (Emirates Global Aluminium), where she leads sustainability agenda for UAE and global assets related to sustainability reporting, decarbonisation and climate adaptation efforts, cultural transformation and alignment/compliance with international standards.
With a PhD in Science, Dr. Jaksic has spent over 20 years driving cross-sectoral sustainability improvements in various industries. Her expertise spans environmental management, climate change mitigation and adaptation, ESG data analytics, and embedding sustainability into business strategy and culture. She is passionate about the circular economy, nature-positive approaches, and leveraging sustainability for long-term value creation.
Dr. Jaksic regularly engages with global stakeholders, contributes to technical papers, and participates in regional and international forums to advance best practices in the sustainability field.
