Biography
Rosalind Helfand, based in Los Angeles, California, is an expert in environmental policies and programs. Rosalind is the Co-founder of the California Global Biodiversity Alliance (CalGBA), which engages stakeholders from across California, as well as across the United States and globally, to advance subnational biodiversity leadership and participation in the UN Convention on Biological Diversity. Rosalind is also a member of the City of Los Angeles Biodiversity Expert Council and is a former Advisor on the gender equality and the Rio Conventions and on Feminist Action for Climate Justice as a consultant for UN Women. Rosalind holds a Masters in Conservation Leadership from the University of Cambridge.
